DBA Devops

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DBA DevOps to join our team. Your role will involve managing current systems, working on migration projects, automating processes, improving system performance, and troubleshooting issues. This position offers the chance to work in a diverse ecosystem with a strong emphasis on leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, developers, architects, and managers from various locations to ensure timely deliverables.
• Implement DevOps practices and principles, focusing on Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scalability.
• Install, configure, and maintain real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka and other data solutions (e.g., Data Transformation/ETL).
• Orchestrate systems with a strong focus on resilience and high availability.
• Evaluate and implement data technologies, tools, and utilities.
• Analyze resource usage, growth patterns, and capacity planning for infrastructure.
• Provide level 2 and, if applicable, level 3 support for changes, requests, and incidents in production environments, including participation in on-call 24/7 support.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Kafka administration.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of SQL language and performance tuning.
• Experience with a broad landscape of data engines focused on resilience and high availability.
• Ability to work autonomously with proactivity, leadership, ownership, coordination, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills (written, listening, and speaking), a culture-centered attitude, teamwork, and high motivation.
• Fluent in English (mandatory); comprehension of French is appreciated.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of PLSQL and experience with Terraform.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (or other non-relational databases).
• Knowledge and experience with Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated ability and motivation to learn new processes and technologies.
• Autonomy and critical-thinking with a strong focus on collaborative team environments.
