DBA Engineer (PostgreSQL)

We are looking for a diligent DBA Engineer specializing in PostgreSQL to join our team.
The successful candidate will ensure to provide exceptional PostgreSQL database support and expertise to our project and professional customers, addressing a variety of technical issues. This role requires an individual who can own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues swiftly and effectively.
The remote option applies only to the Candidates who will be working from any location in Ukraine.

Responsibilities

• Provide PostgreSQL database support across the project
• Specialize in PostgreSQL performance cases for both queries and instances level
• Assist other engineers in solving PostgreSQL-related tech issues
• Own and troubleshoot customer technical issues using diagnostic processes
• Attend Microsoft Teams meetings with customers for live troubleshooting sessions
• Follow engineering best practices during development
• Participate actively in the product development process from design to deployment
• Involve in the development and planning of requirements
• Analyze and resolve performance issues in microservice systems

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Data Integration
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and PostGIS
• Skills in Python
• Expertise in providing real-time database support
• Background in conducting sophisticated problem solving and troubleshooting
• Understanding of engineering practices and development processes

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Gerrit
• Competency in using Liquibase
• Knowledge of Redash
