Job Description

• Complex incident & problem management, including root cause analysis of all Oracle and SQL Server related issues.
• Complex changes, configuration management, release management, & lifecycle management of Proactis’ global Oracle and SQL Server estate.
• Actively contributes to process improvements to the benefit of Proactis and its customers.
• Assists in the design, implementation and project handover phases for new and existing customers.
• Participates in a revolving out of hour’s on-call rota for the support of all Oracle and SQL Server incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree Graduate
• 10 years of Oracle database management in a production mission critical environments on Windows and Linux up to Oracle 19c. OCP certified.
• 5 years of SQL Server database management in a production mission critical environment up to Oracle 19c. 
• Bash and Powershell scripting
• Experience in PL/SQL and T-SQL scripting
• Performance tuning, RMAN, backup and monitoring technologies such as Veeam and PRTG.
