DEDICATEDtruck drivers are a vital part of customer relations and are responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage-free. Dedicated drivers will conduct multiple stops per day while interacting with customers. Drivers will be required to maneuver freight as needed. This hands-on, day-shift position is ideal for those who demonstrate great customer skills and have mastered local traffic routes. JOB DETAILS: $34.50- $35.50/ HR 40 HOURS GUARANTEED HOME DAILY M-F Consistent Route JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Transport freight in safe and prompt manner Interact with our clients and customers in a professional and courteous manner with limited supervision Comply with Department of Transportation regulations and laws Maintain responsibility for safety and security of company equipment and customer goods Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, either individually or with the assistance of a co-worker, with or without mechanical freight handling equipment, as required. Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets. Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations. Hook and unhook trailers from tractors, including cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear. Fuel trucks and tractors. Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
