As a new Delivery Consultant you will receive comprehensive training and mentoring from experienced colleagues to help you:

- Develop the skills to deliver world-class services and solutions.
As a Consultant within our Automation team your primary mission is to support customers in implementing and optimizing infrastructure automation and FinOps solutions using IBM software. You will work independently or collaboratively with colleagues across the IBM Technology Expert Labs team in EMEA.
In this role you will:
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates using Terraform and Ansible to support SRE tooling and IT automation environments.
- Automate deployment and configuration of observability platforms and resource management tools such as Instana and Turbonomic.
- Implement GitOps workflows to manage environment lifecycle and prevent configuration drift.
- Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs)Â to translate operational requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Integrate AIOps capabilities to enable predictive analytics and intelligent incident response.
- Document architecture deployment processes and operational playbooks to ensure repeatability and transparency.
- Support pre-sales activities helping customers understand the value and capabilities of IBM Automation offerings.
- Basic experience or strong interest in Infrastructure Automation GitOps and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure IBM Cloud).
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong analytical and structural thinking skills.
- Willingness to learn explore and take initiative in solving problems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to observability platforms and resource management tools like Instana or Turbonomic.
- Interest or experience in AiOps and intelligent automation.
- Understanding of SRE principles and how infrastructure supports them.
