Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, the Demand Generation Specialist is a key member of the marketing team responsible for driving awareness, interest, and demand for our products, including outdoor environmental, water, and building performance solutions based on HOBO data loggers. This role leverages various strategies and channels to reach target audiences, including tradeshows, webinars, thought leadership initiatives, and high-impact content development. The successful candidate will plan, execute, and optimize demand generation campaigns to meet lead generation and revenue goals.
Position Responsibilities
- Tradeshow Participation:
- Plan, execute, and perform post-event analysis for tradeshows, maximizing lead generation and brand visibility.
- Coordinate with sales and product teams to ensure aligned messaging and goals for tradeshows.
- Attend industry-specific tradeshows and present material supporting the use of data loggers.
- Webinar and Thought Leader Series Development:
- Develop and manage a calendar of webinars and thought leadership series focused on outdoor environmental, water, and building performance monitoring solutions.
- Identify and recruit industry experts and internal thought leaders to participate as speakers.
- Oversee content creation, promotion, and attendee engagement strategies to drive meaningful interactions and registrations.
- White Paper Development:
- Collaborate with product management, R&D, and industry experts to develop compelling white papers on HOBO data logger applications.
- Manage writing, design, and distribution to ensure white papers reach the right audience segments and contribute to lead generation.
- Demand Generation Strategy:
- Develop integrated demand generation campaigns across all available channels in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Use data and analytics to continuously refine and improve campaign performance.
- Focus on generating high-quality leads aligned with the companyβs sales and revenue goals.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with sales, product management, and other marketing team members to ensure demand generation efforts align with broader business objectives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the effectiveness of demand generation activities.
Professional Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in demand generation, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
- Proven success managing tradeshows, webinars, and content development.
- Strong understanding of marketing for outdoor environmental, water, and building performance solutions.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and use insights to drive decision-making.
- Proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Experience in the environmental monitoring or IoT industries.
- Familiarity with SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing tactics.
- Knowledge of lead scoring and nurturing strategies.
