Deposit System Analyst

JOB SUMMARY: The Deposit System Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the unit. This individual ensures that all assigned functions are appropriately handled in a timely manner. The Deposit System Analyst processes and ensures posting of all Funding Transactions originated from our Digital Banking platform, reconciles all transactions to posting files, and ensures all exception items are resolved cleared within 24 hours. This individual researches, responds, and resolves all customer (internal & external) inquiries regarding account funding from the Mantl platform. The Deposit System Analyst assures accounting records for designated General Ledger accounts are in balance and all adjusting journal entries are processed timely.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service– is the highest priority of the Bank. All employees must strive to provide excellent customer service and adhere to Company Standards, policies, and procedures
• Ensure adherence to all Bank policies and procedures, regulatory guidance, and all applicable federal and state laws
• Ensure the accurate and timely posting of all funding transactions for accounts created through the Digital Banking platform
• Performs all research and investigation of posting exceptions, missing deposits, or unreconciled differences
•  Performs research and maintenance adhering to policies and procedures
• Performs research as requested by other departments to resolve a customer inquiry or servicing issue
• Performs the daily reconciliation of all funding transactions to the designated General Ledger
• Research and resolve all outstanding differences, exceptions in a timely manner
• Assist in the testing and implementation of new products and services
• Assists with other research and special projects, as necessary
• Assists with internal and external Bank audits
• Assists with Disaster Recovery testing as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent education and related training
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Bank operational role required
• Understanding of US Banking systems, processes, and regulations preferred
• Lead or participate in all implementations of new services or products as needed
• Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed
• Knowledge of online banking products and services
• Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy
• Position requires attention to detail, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
