As a Design Centre Experience Associate at Van Metre Homes, your primary responsibility is to provide an outstanding experience for both potential and current buyers. This involves leading engaging browsing sessions at the Design Centre, effectively using the Client Relations and Contract Management systems, and accurately documenting and managing home selections and pricing. As a Design Centre Experience Associate at Van Metre Homes, your role is crucial in preparing our buyers for the construction of their new homes and to the overall success of Van Metre Homes.

Design Centre Experience Associate Responsibilities

• Sales Operations:
  • Provide support by assisting the Design Centre Team with Browse and Final Appointments.
  • Maintain communication with Structured Wiring vendors until final proposals are received.
  • Collaborate with onsite Community Experience teams to complete home selections.
  • Compile weekly and monthly selection reports.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Design Centre and its displays.
• Record Maintenance:
  • Update and manage Client Relations and Contract Management software programs to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks including handling Word documents, pricing, promotional materials, supply inventory, structured wiring accounts, diagrams, tracker spreadsheets.
  • Address and manage selection revisions, discontinued or backordered materials, change orders, and custom design option requests.
  • Validate Design Centre paperwork prior to buyer finalization.
  • Ensure accuracy of interior 3D renderings for spec homes.
  • Submit finalized Design Centre paperwork for processing and release.
  • Track and resolve missing addendums and deposit schedules.
    

Experience

• Demonstrated sales and design experience, in the home building industry, preferred
• HubSpot experience, preferred
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evening hours
• Exceptional public speaking, problem-solving, analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Required Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
• A Realtors License is NOT required, and an active licensee will be required to inactivate their license.
