Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Design Coordinator 2, we'll count on you to:
- Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques, procedures and modifications to architectural construction documents
- Perform assignments with specific objectives, requiring investigation of a limited set of variables
- Independently perform architectural assignments with only general instruction from the Project Architect, Designer, or Project Manager regarding the expected results
- Develop, lead and manage building information models and processes, including coordination with other disciplines
- Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural process
- Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and knowledge of engineering planning, drafting and detailing
- Contribute to the development of specifications covering architectural matters and assist with code analysis/reviews.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, sketches, and graphic representations of architecture designs by hand or using computer-aided design software
- Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field
- Must possess credentials to obtain future registration
- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
- Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience and/or interest in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Enscape or similar rendering software
- Preference given to local candidates
