Job Description

We are seeking a Design Program Manager to support a multidisciplinary design studio in managing the execution and communication of multiple product design initiatives. This role involves close coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure program schedules, priorities, and deliverables stay on track. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in cross-functional collaboration across creative and engineering teams. Scope: • Manage and drive program timelines, schedules, and resource planning. • Coordinate and track logistics for design prototype builds with internal stakeholders and external vendors. • Facilitate regular team meetings, define agendas, and ensure follow-ups on action items. • Create and maintain tracking tools including timing charts, schedules, and program scope documents. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather program requirements, define next steps, and document risks. • Communicate project updates, milestone changes, and decisions clearly across design studio stakeholders. • Support risk mitigation planning and help resolve blockers related to product development and design execution. • Propose solutions to project execution issues based on timelines, resources, and constraints.Required: • 3–7 years of experience in program or project management, ideally in a design, creative, or hardware product development environment. • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs involving design, engineering, and vendor teams. • Strong skills in schedule management, resource coordination, and milestone tracking. • Experience working with external vendors on deliverables, prototypes, or production materials. • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to simplify complex information. • Detail-oriented, highly proactive, and comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments. • Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and project management tools.Estimated Min Rate:$40.00 Estimated Max Rate:$50.00/hr+ Depends on experience What’s In It for You?
