The role you'll contribute:
The Visual Designer is responsible for the execution of creative and digital deliverables. This position reports to the Manager Visual Design. Support the Manager Visual Design in concept and creative development for complex campaigns, ensuring client needs and objectives are met within all campaign components, delivering concepts and final artwork on time and on budget. Work directly with the Manager Visual Design and other creative team members to brainstorm for innovative ideas appropriate for message, audience and budget, directly contributing to project design and development, creating storyboards/initial graphic concepts and conceiving functional design solutions. Create and develop a wide range of digital and print projects, including website and microsite design/development, email marketing templates, social media and banner ads, infographics, video, interactive media and print.

• Support the Manager Visual Design in concept and creative development for complex campaigns, ensuring client needs and objectives are met within all campaign components, delivering concepts and final artwork on time and on budget.
• Work directly with the Manager Visual Design and other creative team members to brainstorm for innovative ideas appropriate for message, audience and budget, directly contributing to project design and development, creating storyboards/initial graphic concepts and conceiving functional design solutions.
• Create and develop a wide range of digital and print projects, including website and microsite design/development, email marketing templates, social media and banner ads, infographics, video, interactive media and print.
• Adhere to and maintain brand standards and its integral role in the organization, providing quality assurance of creative deliverables and art direction of collateral, campaigns and photo and video shoots as needed.
• Build and maintain positive rapport with clients and team members, partner agencies, photographers and other vendors.
• Maintain accurate and orderly records of jobs produced and attaching final artwork to closed jobs electronically in the Creative Management software program, delivering hard copy files to production/traffic manager upon job completion and in a timely manner.
• Monitor and update the status of jobs assigned on a daily basis through the utilization of Creative Management software program and communicates to leadership and/or production/traffic manager if a project will not be completed on schedule.
• Manage individual client projects throughout their lifecycle.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Demonstrated ability of design software, photography, and web design.
• Strong professional and communication skillset.
• Short-form copywriting skills
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Other design/illustration software
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:
• On-line and off-line campaign strategy development
• Social Media strategy development
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• BS or BA in Graphic Design, Visual Art and/or related field AND minimum of four years of experience in visual/graphic design.
• Or Associates degree in Graphic Design, Visual Art and/or related field AND minimum six years of experience in visual/graphic design
• Experienced with on-line and off-line mass advertising campaigns
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
• Experience with on-line and off-line campaign strategy development
• Videography
• Social media strategy development
