About the Role:

Yubico is adding a new Developer Advocate to the team with a focus on the Android developer community. Developer Advocates represent our customers during all phases of the product development lifecycle. You will leverage your hands-on technical expertise to build relationships influence our mobile roadmap identify and anticipate customer challenges solve them with simplicity and communicate complex technical content with clarity. You want to be out in front leading the industry movement to inspire and empower developers to innovate and secure their apps with open standards.

Responsibilities:

• Advocate for YubiKey integration and adoption among Android developers.

• Develop engaging content (blog posts videos tutorials) showcasing YubiKey's benefits for Android development and security.

• Collaborate with the Android developer community through forums meetups and conferences.

• Partner with the Yubico engineering team to understand developer needs and guide product development.

• Collect and communicate developer feedback to influence the Yubico mobile roadmap.

• Stay up-to-date on the latest Android trends and technologies.

• Create and maintain samples libraries and tools to support developers using YubiKey with Android.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience developing Android applications.

• Strong passion for Android development and the developer community.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to create engaging and informative content.

• Experience with YubiKey or similar security technologies is a plus.

• Familiarity with Kotlin Java and Android development tools is essential.
