Job Description

About this job:

We are looking for a Developer (100%) to join our Group IT Life and Health Underwriting and Claims application team and help drive the development and the adoption of software solutions using Low Code Platforms within PartnerRe. This role can be based in Dublin, working with our internal business stakeholders and IT teams on the global level.

About the role:

• Own the full responsibility to develop and operate automated workflow solutions (Primary: Appian, Nice to have: UiPath).
• Oversee, maintain, and improve the solutions in production to ensure ongoing performance, compliance to ITSM and change procedure, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Take initiative to drive innovation or hyperautomation/AI related proof-of-concepts, pilots, and new technology/project implementations.
• Coach other developers or citizen developer communities to use Appian platforms

Qualifications

About you:

• IT related university degree.
• Good English communication skills and get things done attitude to drive solution development, process optimization and simplification.
• 5+ years of experience in building workflow solutions using Appian platform.
• Appian Level 1 & Level 2 certification.
• Experience in ITSM, and application production monitoring, debugging, impact analysis and defect fixing.
• Experience in Agile, and Azure DevOps environment.
• Nice to have:
  • Re/insurance industry, regulatory, data protection related knowledge
  • UiPath RPA development
  • Azure cloud ecosystem
  • Selenium test automation
  • Python
  • French language understanding
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment
