An opportunity exists in the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department, a part of Raytheon, for a Development Support Engineer in the RFC Development Fab. AMS develops, designs, and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, millimeter/microwave integrated circuits, focal plane arrays, and modules for defense and commercial applications.

What Will You Do:

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Support the research and development efforts of the department by performing semiconductor processing in the RF Components Development Fab in the areas of etch, deposition, and/or back end of line.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Support overhead projects for the growth and sustainment of the Development Fab.

Qualifications You Must Have:

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Typically requires a Associate's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years' of prior work experience or a minimum 5 years' of prior work experience in the semiconductor industry.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Experience with semiconductor device processing in either Etch, Deposition, or Back-End-of-Line.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Experience with compound semiconductor device processing.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Experience working with SQL databases.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Experience with statistical analysis software (JMP, Minitab, R, SPSS, MATLAB, etc).

[if !supportLists]• [endif]The ability to collaborate in diverse, cross-functional teams.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Ability to clearly communicate data and observations generated during processing.

[if !supportLists]• [endif]Ability to maintain process documentation.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
