Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer in the Sustainability Software organization you bring technical expertise and a passion for successfully adopting DevOps tools and practices. You are a problem solver at heart with a passion and drive to innovate and disrupt the current status quo on how to accomplish a task resulting in automating and optimizing the DevOps workflow.

Key responsibilities of this role but are not limited to:

• Serving as a technical team member in the development team and contributing your knowledge and expertise towards the project’s success.
• Implementing containerized workflows using technologies such as RedHat OpenShift Kubenetes Ansible Jenkins Travis CI and other open-source solutions.
• Diagnosing environmental issues and introduce/implement technologies to solve them.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest container platform releases and containerization techniques.
• Provision and maintenance of DevOps Infrastructure

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Skills:

• 2+ years experience with:
• Openshift Kubenetes Orchestration Platforms
• Automation with Ansible Python Shell scripts AWS AMI/CFT
• Experience in Deploy automate and maintenance of applications in cloud environment like IBM Cloud/AWS/GCP
• Experience with CI/CD Pipelines
• Linux Administration

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Data Engineering pipelines
• Agile Development Methodologies
• Degree in Computer Science Mathematics Engineering or equivalent professional experience
