Your Role and Responsibilities

• We are looking for highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineers to join our team as we embark on building a CI/CD pipeline to support the delivery of IBM container products to our valued customers and IBM Product teams. As a DevOps Developer you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining this new pipeline especially provisioning on datasource configurations connections various datasource authentication mechanism etc
• Requires ability to absorb professional knowledge quickly and develop skills on provisioning data source connections.
• Ensure the smooth operations of provisioning and maintaining datasource connections via patching and version upgrades and enabling seamless continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to address technical issues troubleshoot problems and ensure the efficiency of the CI/CD process.
• Automate and optimize various aspects of the CI/CD pipeline using script programming languages like Python Bash or PowerShell.
• Provide technical support to our customers stakeholder via various communication channels including Slack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by product teams to ensure the pipeline operates efficiently and delivers high-quality software.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2 to 4 years of IT professional experience in software development with knowledge in Enterprise GitHub and version control CI/CD Pipeline
• Script programming development (e.g. Python Bash PowerShell)
• Hands on in any SQL/non-SQL databases (like Oracle Postgres DB2 etc)
• Hands on cloud (any -IBM cloud AWS Azure)
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• knowledge of Kubernetes or Redhat Openshift
• knowledge of Python / Java Linux /RHEL
• knowledge of cloud providers (IBM Cloud AWS Azure etc)
