THE POSITION
• Develop and maintain a stable development infrastructure for utilization by developers in the areas of Web, Mobile, and Data Analytics application development.• Ensure operational stability of the staging and production environments collaborating with global team to provide follow the sun support.• Continue to automate and streamline the Jenkins build process for multiple application types including Spring Boot based micro services and Docker containers.• Work with the development teams to continuously improve development processes, increase code coverage, reduce build times and ensure general stability of the application.• Maintain developer tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, Selenium, Nexus, and Docker ensuring build environment scalability along with evaluating / implementing version changes.• Build and maintain systems for tracking and monitoring the usage/consumption of infrastructure specific services; ensure performance and SLA/OLA adherence (utilizing e.g. DataDog or MicroMeter).• Prevent defects by supporting and enforcing automated testing techniques such as Unit Testing and Behavior Driven Development.

Job Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree in computer science or 2+ years of experience without a Bachelors Degree of relevant professional experience in IT administration and IT automation• Expert knowledge of CI/CD pipelines & build tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven, Gradle)• Advanced knowledge git, and GitHub• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), like Terraform, Ansible, etc.• Experience with and knowledge of software development lifecycles (including behavior driven development) Kubernetes, Docker, Azure Cloud• Fluent in English• Continental is able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity• Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Development experience with Java, ideally exposure to Spring Boot• Strong analytical skills; good communication and consulting skills on international level• Project management skills including agile
