In this role you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
You will work with various projects and clients working towards client specifications. You will have a real passion for the philosophy of DevOps which they'll be able to use to their advantage and deliver value for our clients. Your role will involve designing and deploying solutions to the cloud which will allow: automatic provisioning and management of environments; the capability to continuously integrate; containerization functionality and the automation of testing. We are seeking a skilled DevOps & Release Engineer with expertise in Microsoft technologies to support and enhance our application lifecycle management processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure DevOps scripting and cloud configuration with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics and Azure services.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Manage and optimize release pipelines using Azure DevOps (Classic)
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell
- Oversee release management processes for Microsoft Dynamics solutions
- Configure and manage Azure resources (Key Vaults Functions Storage Accounts Service Bus)
- Collaborate with development teams using Git for version control
- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and configuration issue
- Azure Cloud experience (or any other Public Cloud)
- Container orchestration: Kubernetes or OpenShift
- CI/CD tools
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps (Classic)
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ALM
- Solid understanding of Azure Cloud Platform services
- Hands-on experience with Git
