DevOps Engineer

We’re not rockstars or ninjas, just a team of developers working to make life a little easier for doctors and their patients. Our platform, built on a Ruby on Rails API with AngularJS and React front-end, helps our client’s practices manage appointments, track drug inventory, send reminders, and handle insurance claims. We deploy on AWS and are continuing to scale. We're looking for aDevOps Engineerto help us grow and strengthen our infrastructure, streamline our development processes, and support our engineering team. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities that will keep the work engaging and provide continuous opportunities to grow and develop your skills. What You'll Do • Improve and maintain our CI/CD pipelines • Enhance the developer experience • Monitor and manage our AWS-based cloud infrastructure • Troubleshoot and debug production systems About You • You're proactive and get things done • You enjoy learning and exploring new technologies • You collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment • You know how to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively You Might Have Experience With • Linux systems (Debian) • Writing MySQL queries • Deploying Node/Yarn, Ruby/Rails • Monitoring tools like Datadog and Rollbar Desired Skills/Experience • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a similar role • Proficiency in scripting and automation • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools • Cloud infrastructure, AWS preferred • Strong problem-solving skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States Please note:candidates applying for this position must reside within 1-hour driving distance of our Austin, TX office.
