Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Build and Deploy infrastructure using Terraform, ARM 

  • Deploy yaml manifests for Kubernetes using Helm. 

  • Create / Modify Chef cookbooks, Ansible Playbooks 

  • Create/ Modify Jenkin Pipelines, combining cookbooks and playbooks using Jenkin pipelines. 

  • Work in an agile software delivery methodology environment that is focused on developing, deploying, and enhancing automation Solutions. 

  • Develops and maintains product/system, implementation documentation. 

  • Work with stakeholders to define clear project objectives, agree on priorities, communicate progress updates and demonstrations, and provide up front idea for any blockers, risks, issues, conflicts which may result in delay in meeting the objectives. 

  • Be an active member of a team that focuses on Automation Development, and Support for various DevOps tools. (Jenkins, Jfrog, Bitbucket, Blackduck, Coverity and SonarQube) 

  • Be a Self-starter, providing creative and innovative ideas or solutions to advance the Technology offerings, and be able to work independently. 

  • Build and code pipelines and create automated solutions that can be re-used. 

  • Be a technologist who values automating everything. 

Qualifications and skills: 

  • 4+ years of solid, diverse work experience in Infrastructure automation 

  • Expertise in Automation and Configuration management tools: Ansible, Puppet, chef, Terraform, ARM templates. 

  • Proven Understanding with Azure Cloud deployments and container technologies (Docker/ Kubernetes/ AKS). 

  • Experience with Azure CLI, Azure REST APIs, Azure Management Console 

  • Knowledge of CI/CD development using Jenkins pipelines with groovy. 

  • System Engineering Knowledge proficiency in Operating Systems and Middleware technologies (Red Hat Linux, Ubuntu, Tomcat, etc.). 

  • Understanding of SCM / DevOps / CI/CD tools & process (GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, Gradle, Ant, Jenkins). 

  • Experience and understanding of Security tools and Threat modelling is Big Plus

  • Good understanding of Agile Methodology and Tools (JIRA) 

  • Self-motivated and works well both independently and collaboratively. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, that enable collaboration with global teams. 

  • Familiarity with AWS CLI, AWS APIs, AWS Cloud Formation templates, AWS Management Console is PLUS.

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/Technical field or related experience is required

  • Experience in implementing Cloud Governance systems to monitor usage and recommend best cost-effective practices is PLUS.

  • Experience in managing cloud infrastructure is PLUS.
