About this position SeeScan is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong automation tool and script development experience. This is a fully onsite position located in San Diego. Compensation The salary range for our DevOps Engineer position is$80,000to$130,000annually. This range represents a good-faith estimate based on the qualifications we expect to find in a successful candidate. Actual compensation offered may be less or greater than this estimate based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, our assessment of your ability to bring value to our organization. We are looking for a long-term, in-house teammate to join us, not a contractor or consultant. In this position, you will • Close gaps between software development, testing, quality, and support • Identify opportunities for process automation in software development and IT operations • Plan, deploy, and monitor process automations • Promote continuous integration and continuous deployment efforts • Improve system reliability and availability while maintaining strict security • Build integrations that improve efficiency and user experience Programs and tools • C# • Gitlab • Docker • AWS • Ubuntu, Windows, and Mac OS • PowerShell • MySQL • PostgreSQL • Apache/Nginx • Postman • Let’s Encrypt • Kubernetes About you • Communication and management skills to oversee multiple teams continually working on updating, testing, and deploying code • Flexibility and adaptability to manage simultaneous changes to various parts of a system • Big-picture perspective to consider our organization’s entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements Your background • Strong experience developing in C# • Demonstrated success in project management • Previous experience working in a DevOps environment, especially introducing DevOps practices to a company or team • B.S. in CS, CE, or similar with relevant experience About SeeScan Modern life depends on the infrastructure that brings water, electricity, gas, and communications services to our homes and businesses.
