DevOps Team Lead (World of Warships, PC)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а DevOps Team Lead to work on World of Warships in our Belgrade office.

The team is responsible for dozens of web and infrastructure services at all stages of their life cycle. Therefore, we offer you a great opportunity to become a member of our team and lead it in providing our players with the best gaming experience.

You will design and implement high-availability services in collaboration with development teams and QA engineers, work on monitoring systems and automation solutions, and maintain integration and delivery pipelines, as well as development and production environments.

What will you do?

• Implement high-availability systems in collaboration with development teams
• Lead the DevOps team in migrating to a containerized environment
• Design and implement monitoring systems and automation solutions
• Manage the workload of a DevOps team consisting of 3 engineers

What are we looking for?

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Gitlab, TeamCity)
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Expertise in infrastructure as code instruments (Puppet, Ansible)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
• Experience with Python or Go programming language
• Knowledge of VCS (Git)

Leadership Skills

• Project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Experience in leading and mentoring an Engineering team
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including development and QA

Experience

• Experience with large-scale, high-availability environments
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related field 
• At least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role

Other

• Willingness to be on-call and handle after-hours issues as needed
•  A passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
• Advanced Russian
• Intermediate English level or higher
• Readiness to work in an office in Belgrade, Serbia
