FIRST SHIFT DIE SETTER
Job Summary
• Responsible for setting up and preparing molds on injection molding machines.
• Ensures mold setups are complete for process technicians to begin operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Install and align molds according to production specifications.
• Inspect molds/tools for wear or damage; perform minor repairs or report issues.
• Maintain accurate records of setups, maintenance, and production data.
• Follow safety protocols and operate equipment safely.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to enhance efficiency.
• Correctly connect hydraulic and water lines.
• Clean work area after each setup.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience as a die setter or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and machine operation knowledge.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
