Diesel Technician

DESCRIPTION

Job Summary:

Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Williston, ND). will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

(Intermediate):

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs engine overhauls with limited direct supervision

QUALIFICATIONS

prefer at least 2 years technician experience.

Ability to use computer for diagnostics, follow troubleshooting steps and assist in parts job needs.

• A current valid license is required for this role
• Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
• This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
