Lilly is on an exciting journey to transform Information and Digital Solutions (IDS) into a leading technology organization within a Pharma company. Part of this journey is to become a digital product-based organization. As a result, there is a renewed focus on creating both a world class User Centred Design and Software Product Engineering capability to deliver an exciting portfolio of patient and employee facing solutions to power our business. A core element of this is to deliver accessible solutions that intentionally include a range of human variances to create barrier-free experiences.

What You'll Be Doing

The Digital Accessibility Manager will be a key member of the newly formed Digital Accessibility team. This new role will provide a range of support services and expertise to our Information and Digital Solutions organization and business partners. You will;

  • Engage with and help stakeholders understand the potential barriers and how to remove them.
  • Equip teams with the knowledge, skills and tools to become self-sufficient.
  • Embed accessibility and inclusive design best practices into the way we work.

  • Accelerate - You will define ways to automate and refine processes so that accessibility becomes business-as-usual.
  • Deliver - You will be able to articulate the value of accessibility and inclusive design so that teams have the know-how and desire to transform the way they work.

What You Should Bring

  • experience with Accessibility, Inclusive Design, Design Thinking, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with assessing and auditing digital products against defined standards, eg WCAG 2.1.
  • Demonstrable experience of supporting the resolution of accessibility issues.
  • Deep understanding and empathy for those with lived experiences of disability.
  • Proven track record of high quality, agile focused, team-based solution delivery.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and collaboration skills, working across global and diverse teams.

Your Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field
Or

  • High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of equivalent work experience
