Join our team and be at the forefront of digital supply chain transformation! In this global role as Supply Chain Digital and Analytics Manager for Clariant's Care Chemicals Business Unit, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of digital technologies and advanced analytics within to improve the Supply Chain Performance. You will build advanced demand forecasting models and optimizing supply networks, inventories and service levels leveraging advanced analytics, along with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and other advanced technologies. This position is based in The Woodlands, TX, candidates in the greater Houston area or those willing to relocate to The Woodlands are welcome to apply! We offer a Flexible Remote Policy granting employees the opportunity to work 40% remote.
Responsibilities
- In this role you will develop and implement cutting-edge analytical models and machine learning to elevate our Supply Chain (SC) Management
- Leverage statistical computer languages and advanced modeling to create predictive demand forecasting models
- You will build data models to optimize inventory, supply scenarios, customer service levels, and order fulfillment
- Identify potential supply chain risks and create contingency plans with key stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally to uncover trends, patterns and generate actionable insights
- You'll have the opportunity to lead cross-functional teams in implementing next-gen Supply Chain systems like Kinaxis
- Drive the rollout of new technologies to automate SC processes and activities including developing and managing intuitive SC dashboards and analytical reporting
- You'll deploy new low-code applications to enhance and transform processes
- Identify emerging tech trends to incorporate into the SC transformation roadmap
- Lead and execute key initiatives to accomplish the SC transformation vision and goals
- Create a supportive infrastructure for data-driven SC management
- Provide advanced data and analytics training and upskilling for SC team members
Requirements
- We are looking for a passionate, creative individual who thrives on driving change through digital innovation
- Bachelor's Degree is required, having a degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related areas would be preferred
- The ideal candidate would have 3- 5+ years of experience in SC Management, with focus on Advanced Analytics, Statistics and Machine Learning techniques (clustering, decision trees, neuro networks)
- You should bring demonstrated experience in coding, and database management (Python, R, SQL) along with a high proficiency in data and visualization tools such as Power BI and Power App
- Effective leadership skills, with the ability to drive transformative initiatives and manage cross-functional teams and projects is highly preferred
