As a Digital Engineering Lead, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, driving change and innovation across our development and operations teams. Your expertise in digital engineering will be crucial in developing and implementing frameworks, policies, and procedures that support the digitisation of our Generation Assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion Digital Engineering: Act as the go-to person for digital engineering, ensuring our digital assets are accurately captured and maintained.
• Collaborate and Manage: Partner with various business units to create and manage a centralised knowledge hub for digital engineering.
• Implement Change Management: Influence senior leaders and empower teams to lead in the digital delivery of large-scale projects.
• Drive Agile Practices: Foster an agile working environment and support the development of digital workflows aligned with industry standards.
• Promote Innovation: Encourage different ways of working, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity. 

Qualifications

Tā mātou e kimi nei? - What are we looking for?  

• Substantial experience in change management and digital engineering or information management.
• Proven experience in people management and growing teams.
• Practical experience with large infrastructure projects and understanding of construction and asset management complexities.
• Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650 and CFIHOS-JIP36) and experience implementing them.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relations.
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Building Sciences, or a related field.
