About the job:
As we continue to grow our beloved brands, we need a smart, energetic Digital Marketing Specialist to grow sales and elevate our brand presence on the market, with an emphasis on Amazon Ads. We are looking for someone with deep understanding of Amazon advertising and how to leverage it for growth. This person must have an analytical mindset who is comfortable looking at numbers and can report on ad performance and retailer store traffic. At the same time, this person should have an eye for creativity and design, and a willingness to learn more about social media advertising to help manage our brand presence on both our own social media platforms and retailer websites.
What you'll be doing:
- Build digital ad campaigns through our social channels to support our DTC website and help grow brand awareness, engagement, sales and increase LTV
- Actively manage these campaigns to ensure KPI delivery and improve advertising spend efficiency
- Create and build out reports on ad performance and have insights on how to improve campaign performance through strategic optimizations.
- Use keyword, market & competitive research, and industry trend research to ensure we remain competitive with our digital marketing efforts
- Assist in planning future marketing campaigns and forecasting budget spend
- Optimize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and improve YOY efficiency in all paid channels
- Analyze performance metrics for projects, campaigns, efficiency, brand, and customer; making recommendations based on findings and presenting results to leadership
- Analyze and monitor the competitive landscape, staying up-to-date on industry trends and insights to ensure we are remaining competitive with our digital marketing efforts
- Assist in other marketing and branding activities including marketing copy, photography shoots, merchandizing, collateral development, PR events and trade shows - delivering consistency with each brand’s look and feel
- Other projects and responsibilities are always coming up – the role is a great chance to develop leadership and marketing skills in an entrepreneurial environment
What you bring to the table:
- 2+ Years experience running paid ads on the following platforms: Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Tiktok, Google Ads, Pinterest
- Experience with platforms and ESPs such as Shopify, Klaviyo, MailChimp, Omnisend, etcÂ
- Any experiences with these are a plus:Â
- Google Analytics, Shopify, SMS Marketing, ConnectedTV (MNTN, Tatari, TVscientific)
- Direct Mail Marketing
- Sigma Computing, PowerBI
- Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Banners, Sponsored Display, Sponsored Video)
- Photoshop, Illustrator, Spark
- Must be comfortable working with large data sets and the development of custom models/algorithms and visuals to uncover trends, patterns, and insights into customer business data.
- Must have a strong understanding of Paid Search, Paid Social, Google Shopping, Display, Google Analytics and setting up proper UTM parameters
- A great attitude - enjoys building and contributing to happy, high-functioning teams
- Outgoing, professional demeanor with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships within MDB and with our external vendors and customers
- Excellent written and oral communicationÂ
- Must have a continuous improvement mindset, always looking to take initiative to improve on common processes.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to meet deadlines and create error-free workÂ
- A practical, solutions-oriented approach to problem solving. Our ideal candidate enjoys multi-tasking and getting things done
- Strong MS Office skills including MS Excel and Powerpoint
