Job Description
About the Role:
The Marketing Coordinator will take the lead on managing and optimizing ourGoogle Adscampaigns (our top priority), developing marketing processes, and supporting sales and branding initiatives across platforms. You'll wear many hats—owning digital strategy, refining systems, coordinating content, and updating our Squarespace website. A sharp eye formarketing trends and data analysisis essential, as this role plays a key part in making performance-driven decisions. You may also have the opportunity to collaborate with companies across a range of industries through our evolving partner network.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Advertising & Analytics (Primary Focus):
• Plan, launch, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns (Search, Display, Performance Max, Demand Gen).
• Analyze ad performance data and broader marketing metrics to inform strategy.
• Track trends in digital engagement and apply insights to increase lead generation and ROI.
• Conduct keyword research and monitor competition.
Design & Content Creation:
• Use Canva to create branded graphics for blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
• Maintain a cohesive visual identity across all marketing materials.
Website & SEO:
• Maintain and update the company website on Squarespace.
• Implement basic HTML/CSS edits as needed.
• Optimize site content for SEO and monitor performance using Google Search Console.
CRM & Sales Support:
• Manage workflows and lead tracking in the company’s CRM.
• Build and document marketing and sales processes for internal efficiency.
• Coordinate client communication systems and follow-ups.
Content & Social Media:
• Create content calendars and schedule posts across LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Write blog posts, newsletters, and promotional content tailored to tax seasonality and financial topics.
• Support video marketing efforts (planning, editing, or coordination a plus).
Project & Process Management:
• Use Trello or similar tools to manage campaigns and tasks.
• Document recurring workflows and improve marketing/sales processes continuously.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have Skills:
• 2+ years of experience managing and analyzing Google Ads campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, spot trends, and recommend strategic shifts.
• High proficiency in Canva with a strong portfolio of marketing visuals.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization.
• Experience managing and updating Squarespace websites (HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus).
• Working knowledge of CRMs and marketing automation workflows.
• Solid writing skills for social, email, and web content.
Bonus Skills:
• Understanding of seasonal marketing cycles in professional services or accounting.
• Any experience with video content production or management is a plus
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or other reporting tools.
• Project management experience with Trello.
Soft Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Independent worker with a proactive mindset.
• Effective communicator who collaborates well with both creative and technical team members.
