We’re now in search of our next change agent to provide leadership for our delivery and quality assurance processes. Our ideal Quality Assurance Specialist is a highly motivated, collaborative, and outgoing leader who can engage with both executives and individual contributors, provide strategic recommendations to QA challenges, and effectively lead a change management campaign. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

As our Digital Quality Assurance Specialist w/ Editorial exp , you’ll demonstrate the following core responsibilities: 

Overview 

• Help drive the creation of accurate, high-quality content across delivery departments: marketing strategy, technology strategy, design, video, copy, and UI/Dev. 

• Ensure all content and assets—from interactive sites, to e-books, to marketing campaigns—are in compliance with professional, client, and brand requirements. 

• Conduct internal quality assurance passes on assets to ensure compliance with client requirements and brand guidelines. 

• Plan and direct the Indigo Slate Quality Assurance Program, weaving QA across the project lifecycle—from presales through final delivery—into the fabric of our culture. 

• Manage the selection, training, and development of quality assurance staff. 

Governance 

• Evaluate sales and delivery processes by observing work-in-progress and leading discussions at all levels of the organization. 

• Identify gaps in processes that lead to QA issues, and work with internal team members to develop solutions. 

• As part of the Quality Assurance Program, develop a QA roadmap to drive changes to processes and promote adoption. 

Continuous improvement 

• Lead a cross-department “QA task force” in identifying new or ongoing quality issues and designing solutions for them. 

• Mentor task force members in disseminating these solutions to their departments and evangelizing the importance of QA. 

Change management 

• As part of the Quality Assurance Program, develop an internal campaign to raise awareness about the importance of QA at every level and every role in the organization. 

• Systematically enact the Quality Assurance Program to ensure all team members understand and execute on the plan. 

• Develop rapport across departments to make QA an essential part of sales and creation at Indigo Slate. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Strong knowledge or experience in organizational leadership, process governance, quality assurance, and change management 

• Proven experience in collaborating with teams that work cross-functionally within an organization 

• Dynamic leadership skills, especially with internally facing teams 

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills 

• Ability to think both strategically and tactically 

• Advanced verbal and written skills 

• Approximately 5+ years of related industry experience 

• College degree required or equivalent industry experience
