As our Director, Business Analysis, you will...

Be Accountable and Responsible

  • Manage departmental resources across multiple clients and project timelines.
  • Contributes to new business development pitches for RFPs and expansion of services for existing clients.
  • Creates an environment for learning while overseeing junior team members on large projects. Lead client conversations around defining requirements.
  • Partner with cross-discipline leads to socialize and implement process improvements.
  • Assists in providing day-to-day direction across multiple disciplines.
  • Identify business and client workflow conflicts in requirements and recommend solutions.
  • Able to serve in a 'Tech Director' role on the project: consults with the client on functional and technical requirements, not just documenting but making recommendations for optimal implementations taking into account technology, business needs, team composition, budget, etc.
  • Can lead client discussions on how bespoke designs will integrate with the client's built-for-purpose enterprise systems.
  • Can lead client discussions in areas of platform expertise, acting as a consultant, and making recommendations for implementation.
  • Assists with project estimates and scoping related to platform expertise.
  • Able to pitch clients on services related to platform expertise.
  • Able to research new tools/platforms that are related to areas of expertise when needed for client projects.
  • Has a proficient working knowledge of multiple ESPs, personalization, and tracking platforms.

These are the qualifications we’re looking for

  • 10+ years of experience working in an ad agency, software development, or consulting firm.
  • 10+ years of experience documenting requirements and product specifications for complex websites, intranets, and mobile applications, in traditional Scrum/Agile methodologies, Including traditional system requirements concepts such as Epics/Stories, Product Backlogs, etc. 
  • Ability to think critically, with strong analytical skills to recommend creative solutions to our client’s business challenges.
  • Self-motivated, quick, and resourceful
  • Extremely detailed oriented and organized with exceptional time management skills
  • Excellent communication & ability to excel in a very collaborative work environment

Compensation: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00

Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training, and experience. MERGE’s career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. New hires are assigned a job level within a particular position based on these criteria and salary is set within the job level based on these criteria. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role and are promoted to the next level, generally during salary review cycles that are posted in the employee handbook.
