Director Enterprise Operations

As leader of the Enterprise Operations Office, a branch within the Infrastructure and Technology Operations (InfraOps) Team, also accountable for a significant number of supporting critical operational functions to help this organization operate as efficiently as possible. The first area of focus will be Service Delivery, where you will be responsible for maturing the service offering while leading a team that provides Quality of Services to Priceline's Business Customers and Affiliates from on-boarding day-2 support to day-to-day operations. In addition, you will also develop and lead a new services function to help ensure project delivery and quality across all internally led InfraOps initiatives. With the goal of helping our internal supporting functions lead, more optimally, the demands within the CTO organization and the business. Vendor Management is also a key service that falls within the remit of this role. You will build a service team that becomes the single point of contact for all things related to our software partners and suppliers. Lastly, you will support the building out of a conduit for InfraOps to handle the growing demands from Security, Audit and Compliance in a way that's scalable and efficient - ensuring InfraOps is operating within corporate and industry policy.

In this role you will get to:
  • Lead all aspects of each project's lifecycle from conception to completion, with an emphasis on both technical and business point of view. This means having a full working functional knowledge of priceline.com services and offerings as well as through understanding of the OTA and travel industry and the supporting role Infrastructure Services plays.
  • Ensure that Service Delivery acts as the single point of contact and liaison between Priceline and its Business Customers, Affiliates and Partners.
  • Coordinate with resources and contractors responsible for execution and completion of IT projects that focus on multiple multi-functional areas within the InfraOps organization
  • Provide mentorship to the team to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
  • Handle critical issues with customers.
  • Identify customer needs and the solutions/resources needed to successfully deliver the projects.
  • Responsible for successful planning, implementation and execution of the contracted services as defined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Ensure compliance of Operational practices.
  • Develop Service Performance and Project Status Reports/Dashboards.
  • Lead Service Delivery performance reviews with clients/customers.
  • Accountable for quality of service, including ownership of process improvement.
  • Act as a main contact for Vendor and Partner relationships to ensure effective product management over the lifetime of the agreements
  • Build and implements processes around how we optimally lead our Audit and Security requirements ensuring we operate to the highest standards set by internal and external authorities


Who you are:
  • EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Computer Systems or Management. Master's degree or specific job related experience preferred.
  • Experience leading/working with different cultures a distributed team
  • You have 10+ years of Program Management experience in a technology organization (preferably ecommerce), running a variety of product development, infrastructure, compliance, security or privacy programs.
  • Experience OTA/travel/ strongly preferred but not required
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with leading teams, setting strategy/vision with a history of delivery excellence
  • PMP Certification
  • Ideally, you have used Jira/Confluence and are experienced with leading Agile SCRUM development projects
  • IT Service Delivery/Management experience
  • Experience building up IT programs from scratch
  • Ability to connect and communicate with all levels of management internally and externally
  • Understanding of IT Audit Processes and general controls such as SOX, SOC, PCI, CIS, NIST
  • Vendor and Partner Management experience
  • Strong verbal communication and listening skills
  • Proficiency in creating and delivering formal training programs and presentations
  • Functional and technical troubleshooting experience as they relate to process improvements
  • Working experience of with productivity tools such as Google Office Suite
  • Ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations and/or other distributed team locations when required
  • Ability to translate customer needs into business requirement documents
  • Ability to work with technology to translate BRDs into TRDs
