This is a unique opportunity to be part of building a new ecosystem in the fast-moving world of payments and one of the most important initiatives at Visa.Â
This role will be responsible for partnering with regional leader to achieve aggressive sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of VCS.  We will be working in an agile environment so this person must be influential in demonstrating the value of VCS, proactive in ensuring we achieve our goals, and skilled in pivoting and adjusting as new information and lessons learned come to light. This role will also be working with cross-functional partners across VCS to coordinate the end goal of achieving aspirational objectives.Â

What we expect of you, day to day.Â
- Meets and exceeds individual sales targets Â
- Drives expansion sales and owns renewals for managed accounts - drives business expansion within and beyond core products Â
- Owns client relationships and builds client success plans and roadmaps for future sales; maintains knowledge of business changes and client-decision makers across the businessÂ
- Maintains knowledge of end-to-end pipeline and coordinates the account team effectively to drive growth Â
- Recognizes opportunities early and engages the best Visa resources to drive deals forward Â
- Presents clear and specific Visa Value propositions tailored to meet client business objectives Â
- Sells and negotiates based on the quality of Visa’s products and servicesÂ
- Leverages internal (e.g., Legal, Finance, Risk & Compliance, Marketing) and external partnerships to deliver and maintain a robust, revenue pipelineÂ
Qualifications
ExperienceÂ
- Senior level B2B sales experience, particularly in digital product or solutionsÂ
- Experience selling to fintech customers [insert others where relevant, e.g. banks, merchants]Â
- Track record of delivering against sales targetsÂ
Knowledge Focus AreasÂ
- Understanding of digital payment process and platformsÂ
- Understanding of merchant businessesÂ
- Deep knowledge of the various sales cycles and stagesÂ
Skills/competencies
- The successful candidate will effectively own end-to-end relationships with clients and manage them throughout the entire cycle. In doing so, the candidate is able to work collaboratively across internal Visa functions to build a Visa network, solve complex problems, and serve as the face of Visa to external partners.Â
- The ideal candidate will bring passion for and interest in Payments, Fintech, and [industry area], with client-relationship building skills, presence, knowledge of [industry area] strategies and priorities. This is a proactive candidate that is resilient when faced with challenges and has the ability to execute on ambitious revenue goals and quotas.
