WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a passionate and creatively led content production expert with the ability to drive creative excellence and operational scale across diverse production models. You are deeply experienced in building and leading world-class production ecosystems that span ecommerce, creative campaign development, casting, and large-scale seasonal content needs. Your expertise extends from highly efficient studio production models to complex, multi-million-dollar integrated campaigns across mediums and platforms.
You bring a strategic lens to creative production—balancing creativity, efficiency, and scalability—while staying at the forefront of evolving industry practices and technologies. You have a proven ability to discern when and how to leverage in-house direct production capabilities versus external partnerships to maximize both creative output and operational efficiency. You have successfully led in-house casting functions, while also cultivating an expansive and global network of agencies, vendors, and creative collaborators.
You are a seasoned leader—able to navigate ambiguity, simplify complexity, and mobilize teams through clarity and inspiration. You are an influential cross-functional partner, trusted advisor to creative leaders, and a driver of alignment across business-critical functions. You are a people-first leader who fosters resilient, inclusive, and high-performing teams while championing a culture of collaboration, accountability, and work-life balance.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Reporting directly to the Global Sr. Director of Icon Studios and serving as a core member of the Icon Studio Leadership Team, you will be accountable for setting and executing the production vision across Nike’s Icon Studio network. You will oversee all facets of production and casting globally building scalable models, shaping best practices, and driving excellence across ecommerce, seasonal campaigns, athlete integrations, and large-scale creative initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include:
•
Serving as a strategic partner to Icon Creative leadership—translating creative ambition into executable production strategies at scale.
•
Partnering with the Global Brand Marketing Production leadership team to establish consistency, process alignment, rate standardization, and best-in-class production practices across all geographies.
•
Building strong cross-functional partnerships with Legal, Business Affairs, Finance, Sports Marketing, and Global Security to ensure compliance, mitigate risk, and safeguard Nike’s brand and business.
•
Overseeing vendor and talent contract negotiations, with accountability for financial stewardship and long-term vendor relationship management.
•
Partnering with payroll and operational vendors to ensure contracts, workflows, and budgets are rigorously managed and optimized.
•
Continuously improving production processes and scaling models, ensuring ICON Studios is at the forefront of operational innovation for production workstreams.
•
Providing thought leadership on in-house vs. external production capabilities, bringing forward a clear and current point of view on industry trends.
•
Partnering with Sports Marketing to strategically integrate athlete and catalyst talent into production streams while balancing creative ambition with scalable execution.
•
Designing and standardizing complex production workflows that promote efficiency, quality, and repeatability at scale.
•
Developing, mentoring, and elevating production talent—building the next generation of leaders within the production team.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
•
The ICON Studio ecosystem—including Logistics, Planning, Studio Facilities Management, Equipment, Post-Production, Creative Operations, and Security.
•
Nike Creative partners—designers, art directors, creative directors, and leadership across geographies and categories.
•
Cross-functional business stakeholders including Global Marketing, Finance, Legal, Business Affairs, Sports Marketing, Nike Direct, and Marketplace partners.
•
An extensive global network of external production and casting partners, agencies, and creative collaborators.
WHAT YOU BRING
•
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
•
Demonstrated expertise in leading scalable ecommerce photo studio production across both still and motion workflows.
•
Proven success in overseeing complex, multi-million-dollar productions across a variety of mediums, channels, and geographies.
•
A track record of introducing new workflows and approaches that elevate creative output and efficiency.
•
10+ years of leadership skills with a strong ability to inspire, align, and develop high-performing teams.
•
Superior negotiation skills and the ability to confidently navigate high-stakes conversations with vendors, talent, and internal leaders.
•
Strong financial acumen with experience managing large-scale budgets, contracts, and vendor ecosystems.
•
A strong communicator—able to partner with cross-functional stakeholders and thrive in a matrixed environment.
•
A passion for creativity, sports, and culture.
