Director- Innovation (Remote Possible- EDT)

As a Director in our business you are an ambassador of the company strategy and play a key role in its execution. You constantly raise the bar on the work we deliver for clients - leading client engagements, and challenging, supporting and coaching internal teams to deliver outstanding work.

You're an expert innovator, acting as a trusted advisor and innovation leader for clients. You are seen as a thought leader in one of our industry areas (healthcare, consumer goods, B2B/Industrial) and have a strong POV which you share internally and externally.

Commercially driven, you manage a portfolio of existing clients and drive conversations that build relationships with new clients. Networking and relationship building is a key part of your day to day and you show confidence and creativity in leveraging internal resources to further build your network. You're comfortable generating $1m+ in revenue annually.

Requirements

You've got a broad knowledge across our service offering and deep skill in at least one:

• Strategy and Business Case Design
• Product and Portfolio strategy
• Deep human insights (qual)
• In-market testing (quant)
• Design - concepts, products or services

Board of Innovation is committed to open source - all our tools and frameworks are available on our website (in case you didn't already know that) and you can download as many as you like to use in any way you like. That should tell you something about how we think about Innovation - what we do goes beyond frameworks and methodologies. We hire people who think bigger than the box and don't need the template - the original thinkers.

We are methodology agnostic. So there is no handy manual to tell you how to innovate. We look for fast learners who can see a client problem from a different angle and find smarter ways to answer strategic questions.

We are remote first. We optimize all our processes and communication channels for those who work remotelyWe value trust over control so don't expect to be micromanaged - you need to be a self-starter with the confidence to work it out and get things moving.
