Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Director to lead the marketing efforts for de novo practice launches and new service line additions within our growing Dental Support Organization (DSO). This role is responsible for creating and executing strategic marketing plans that drive internal referral generation for new services and external lead generation for new practices.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with clinical leadership, operations, and digital marketing specialists, while also being hands-on in the creation of marketing assets (primarily using Canva and internal Graphic Design resources). The ideal candidate is both strategic and execution-focused, with a proven track record of standing up new business units and building demand from the ground up.Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
• Develop and manage go-to-market strategies for de novo practice launches and new service lines.
• Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, target audiences, and competitive positioning.
• Create and manage detailed marketing plans with timelines, KPIs, and budgets for each initiative.
• Align marketing efforts with clinical and operational leadership to ensure unified messaging and execution.
De Novo Marketing (External Lead Generation)
• Oversee the full lifecycle of new practice marketing: pre-launch awareness, grand opening campaigns, and post-launch optimization.
• Partner with digital marketing specialists to drive new patient acquisition through paid search, SEO, and social media.
• Create location-specific campaigns that resonate with local markets.
Service Line Marketing (Internal Referral Generation)
• Design campaigns to educate and engage existing patient bases about new services.
• Collaborate with internal teams to generate referrals and increase utilization of newly added services.
Creative Development
• Create marketing collateral, including flyers, social posts, email graphics, in-office signage, etc.
• Manage the review and approval process to ensure brand consistency and compliance.
Project Management & Collaboration
• Act as the central coordinator for marketing activities across departments, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Regularly report performance metrics and adjust strategies based on data and feedback.Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within healthcare, dental, multi-site operations, or a growth-stage organization.
• Demonstrated experience launching new locations or service lines and driving measurable growth.
• Strong understanding of both B2C lead generation and internal engagement strategies.
• Proficiency in Canva; capable of producing professional-level marketing assets.
• Familiarity with digital marketing channels (paid media, email, social, etc.) and how to leverage them strategically.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
