We are hiring a Director of Marketing (Safety). This is a remote position in the US. This role reports to the Senior VP Sales and Marketing and is the regional owner of the assigned Business Field and has responsibility for developing and driving the business strategy (the North American Safety Go-To-Market Plan) to achieve the target Net Sales and Global Gross Profit results of the assigned business field and product portfolio. Develop, implement and lead the business field strategy and support Sales & Service leadership to achieve annual sales and profitability objectives for defined business field as established by 5yr Go-To-Market and annual financial business plans (FBP). Ensure full organization alignment by owning the following tasks: • Analyze and take actions based on regional sales funnel, unit forecasting, win/loss data, and other data sources • Identify and drive global marketing mix measures to ensure performance according to plan • Support product approvals / regulatory affairs • Support field corrective actions Drive relevant business and competitive intelligence activities. Develop understanding of competitor and competitive market trends. Use market and competitor analysis to create clear value propositions for the Safety portfolio. Leadership of personnel outlined above in accordance with Dräger values (LEAD and WeLEAD). Assess, hire, maintain and develop critical know-how and competence for the area of responsibility. Lead Operational Marketing and Sales & Service support for the Safety Product Portfolio by actively managing Regional product launches, including cross-functional collaboration as necessary and effectively manages the full Regional portfolio for assigned responsibility. Provides effective leadership to assure that the team provides 2nd level application and technical product support to the local Sales and Service organizations and local application specialist(s) and designs and executes regular sales application trainings in the Region. Develop and/or actively drive a customer centric and value based regional Go-To-Market Plans for the Safety segments in alignment with all regional and global stakeholders. • Address objectives of targeted decision makers across the applicable range of target markets, key accounts and influencing organizations. • Implement tactical marketing plans with clear metrics and KPIs focused on lead/opportunity generation and brand awareness / market penetration. • Provide input for the Global Business Field(s) Strategy. • Actively support the Global Product Manager in defining new products and corresponding service solutions. • Ensure Regional Business Field lobbying and the representation of Draeger at Standard-setting Committees and associated regulatory bodies for key products on local and regional level. Your Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. MBA a plus. Related Experience: Ten plus years marketing experience in a B2B company in relevant market(s) in roles of increasing responsibility. Five years of leadership experience.
