JOB TITLE:Â Director of Performance Marketing
LOCATION: Remote
THE ROLE:Â
As the Director of Performance Marketing, you will own Splice’s global paid advertising strategy. You'll set ambitious goals and craft innovative strategies to exceed business objectives, all while maximizing ROI and ensuring efficient scalability of our marketing efforts. Your keen analytical eye will transform campaign data into actionable insights, empowering strategic decision-making and propelling Splice forward.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own Splice’s Performance Marketing channels globally
- Craft and execute dynamic marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition, foster engagement, and cultivate brand loyalty
- Strategically allocate advertising resources while setting and exceeding performance benchmarks on a channel and country level
- Manage a top-tier Performance Marketing team, driving excellence and innovation at every turn
- Leverage analytics tools to meticulously gauge marketing efficacy and guide data-driven decision making
- Stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring industry trends and pioneering best practices
- Manage projects and campaigns while navigating budgetary, efficiency, and timeline constraints
- Swiftly identify and resolve challenges, keeping campaigns on track and performance-optimized
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing and Product teams, maximizing campaign impact and cohesion
- Integrate insights from cross-functional teams to fuel your strategies, while reciprocally enriching others
- Nurture partnerships with consultants, vendors, and partners, driving mutual success and innovation
JOB REQUIREMENTS:Â
- Minimum 5 years of experience overseeing performance marketing channels
- At least 3 years of experience leading a high-performing team focused on customer acquisition
- Proficiency in crafting and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Track record of efficiently driving traffic, registrations, and subscriptions at scale
- Strong analytical skills coupled with structured problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication skills to convey complex ideas effectively to a broad set of stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Hands-on experience with in-platform execution, including setting up ads on Google and/or Meta
NICE TO HAVES:
- As a company that serves musicians and producers, knowledge of the music production process is a key asset. If this topic is new to you, that’s okay—you should be open to learning about it
- Experience with landing page optimization, onboarding flows, and monetization tactics is a bonus
- Fluency in a non-English language, given our international customer baseÂ
- Proficiency in SQL
The national pay range for this role is $175,000 - $195,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience.
