TCB Compounding is a patient-focused 503A compounding pharmacy specializing in hormone replacement therapy (HRT), weight management, and dermatologic medications. Responsibilities
• Oversee daily operations of sterile and non-sterile compounding, ensuring adherence to USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and state pharmacy board requirements.
• Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture that prioritizes safety, compliance, quality, patient-centered care, and team engagement.
• Build and sustain a high-performing, engaged workforce by promoting professional development, accountability, and collaboration.
• Manage and oversee Category 3 compounded sterile preparations (CSPs) with extended beyond-use dating (BUD) requirements.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), training programs, and quality assurance systems.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure quality outcomes (SOP adherence, error prevention, turnaround times) and operational performance (efficiency, staffing, cost control).
• Collaborate with providers and wellness clinics to deliver customized therapies with a strong focus on patient outcomes.
• Drive operational improvements through workflow optimization, technology adoption, and strategic resource management.
• Serve as the compliance and regulatory liaison with state boards of pharmacy and accreditation bodies.
Experience & Requirements
• Active pharmacist license in the state of Arizona (required).
• Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure in additional states as operations expand, including but not limited to: California, Illinois, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.
• Multi-state licensure experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in a 503A compounding pharmacy, with expertise in sterile and/or non-sterile operations.
• Strong working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and relevant state/federal regulations.
• Demonstrated experience with Category 3 compounded sterile preparations (CSPs), including high-risk compounding practices.
• Exceptional people leadership skills, with a track record of building engaged teams and promoting a positive, accountable culture.
• Ability to develop and monitor KPIs to support safety, compliance, quality, and patient-centered outcomes.
• Experience building and enforcing SOPs, quality systems, and staff training programs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
