Pre-apprentice Plumbing Training is one of our core offerings, and we are seeking a Director of Plumbing to design, lead, and grow this program.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to shape one of the most advanced pre-apprentice plumbing training programs in the country. As our Director of Plumbing, you will:
• Build and leadthe Pre-apprentice plumbing program from the ground up.
• Guide the design of a custom plumbing training labthat mirrors real-world systems.
• Teach and mentor studentsin a hands-on, 6-week training cycle designed to take high school graduates, career switchers, and veterans from zero experience to job-ready.
• See immediate impact— every 6 weeks, a new cohort graduates ready to enter the workforce with real, employable skills.
• Stay active in the tradewith opportunities to continue field work alongside your teaching.
• Grow with usas we expand nationally — this role has the potential to scale into leadership across multiple campuses.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver an accelerated entry-level plumbing curriculum focused on safety, tools, pipe systems, fixtures, troubleshooting, codes, and installation practices.
• Lead the buildout and operation of a state-of-the-art plumbing training lab.
• Teach, coach, and mentor students from diverse backgrounds to prepare them for immediate success in the field.
• Refine and improve the 6-week program with each cycle, ensuring it remains hands-on, relevant, and industry-leading.
• Recruit and mentor future plumbing instructors as the program grows.
• Stay current on plumbing codes, safety standards, and emerging technologies.
• Represent the program with contractors, community partners, and industry organizations.
What We’re Looking For
• Expertise:Licensed Master Plumber with 7+ years of field experience (residential and/or commercial).
• Certifications:State Master Plumbers license required. Additional OSHA, or specialty certifications are a plus
• Teaching/mentorship:Experience training apprentices or journeyman; ability to inspire students new to the trade.
• Leadership:Ready to run a department and guide program growth.
• Passion:A genuine commitment to advancing the plumbing profession.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
