What We’re Looking For

Become a member of Vacasa’s industry leading Revenue Management team as our Director of Pricing & Yield Management that will oversee Vacasa’s network of vacation homes worldwide.  This individual will lead a large team (6 direct reports / 37 total team size) in helping Vacasa maximize revenue for each and every one of our homeowners and Vacasa by predicting consumer demand, focusing on relentless business process execution and setting up pricing and demand strategies to help Vacasa win in the marketplace. 

A key component of success will be the ability to effectively lead and inspire a team to deliver on the strategy, analysis, and execution of revenue management. In addition, this position needs to develop strong partnerships with stakeholders in Revenue Management, Operations, Channels, Marketing, Homeowner Support & Engagement Success and other teams around the company.

What You’ll Do

  • Directs the development of pricing and yield management strategies for Vacasas’s network in order to maximize revenue for homeowners and Vacasa, create homeowner satisfaction and achieve our revenue plans
  • Directs the analysis of pricing issues and competitive situations to determine the most appropriate pricing and yield management actions
  • Provides leadership and direction in development of long-range revenue plans, programs, and systems for the revenue management organization
  • Liaises with other departments in the company to ensure that Vacasas’s revenue management strategy is coordinated with marketing, operations, homeowner support and engagement 
  • Monitors trends in reservations, occupancy, rates, fees & overall revenue to identify problems and opportunities, initiates appropriate actions, measures results and quickly pivots 
  • Proactively assess and monitor competitor’s revenue management strategies and implement commercially viable responses, as appropriate with the aim to drive better than industry revenue to our homeowners and Vacasa
  • Mentors and develops a team in order to build a strong talent bench
  • Creates an action and accountability oriented culture

The Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelors' degree (Master’s of Business Administration Preferred)
  • 5+ years experience in a revenue management organization within the Airline or Hotel Industry
  • Large Team leadership experience (leader of leaders experience)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders within Revenue Management and across the entire company
  • Knowledge of organizational interdependencies of Revenue Management with other key areas of the company
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing organizational strategies and solving complex organization problems
  • Solid storytelling and communication ability, combined with sound analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong leadership skills including visionary mindset and ability to motivate and lead others
  • Excellent time management skills: Ability to ruthlessly set priorities in a time sensitive environment based on revenue impact and also be able to manage multiple priorities / projects simultaneously. 
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing a team

Compensation: 

  • $140,000 - $180,000 / year
