Director of Primary Care | Psychiatric Hospital in Kansas | Pension Plan

An established psychiatric hospital in Central Kansas seeks a Primary Care Physician [Family Medicine (FM)/Internal Medicine (IM)] to join their collegial team of eight primary care providers:
•  State pension plan with five-year vestment period
•  Dedicated nursing support and low patient volume of typically less than 15 daily patient encounters allows time for comprehensive care
•  Integrated team with dental, physical therapy, psychiatry, and more with access to a nearby referral hospital for additional support
•  Scope of practice includes assisting with medical evaluations, physical exams, acute visits, etc.
•  No call
•  Complex/emergent cases referred out to nearby hospital
•  Optional Director of Primary Care role - with additional stipend - to provide leadership and support with the primary care team (mentorship in place with more experienced provider to grow into role over time, if preferred)
•  Permanent base guarantee and competitive first-year package up to $375,000+
