Miku has developed proprietary technology capable of contact-free, real-time health and sleep monitoring without the need for wires or wearables. The technology has significant advantages over competing wearable solutions.
The company continues to deepen its IP and health analytics platform to drive increasing value and insights to its end users as the world shifts from reactive to proactive healthcare. The company is actively expanding it's technology and offering into remote patient monitoring and FDA cleared medical monitoring applications.
Miku is looking for a Director of Product Management reporting to the founder and Chief Product and Technology officer. The person in this role will collaborate with a cross-functional teams across executive leadership (CEO, CPO/CTO, CRO, CFO) as well as engineering, design, marketing and external partners to deliver and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that builds off of the company's existing product and service offerings.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrate passion and empathy for the customer, capture their voice and use it to shape the product experience and strategy
  • Start with the customer and work backwards
  • Know customer issues, pains, desires, how they think and behave
  • Understand and use qualitative and quantitative data to drive product decisions
  • Define and drive the product line strategy and vision
  • Own product deliverables
  • Gather and prioritize product features and clear and concise requirements
  • Be the product expert: how it works, critical components, how users really use it
  • Identify new opportunities and test their potential, measuring and reporting results
  • Pursue product and industry knowledge, identify trends and opportunities - be the subject matter expert
  • Monitor product performance and proactively identify opportunities for product improvement
  • Understand how the business works, and what role the product plays
  • Work closely with counterparts and stakeholders throughout the company to deliver results and ensure product success
  • Work alongside the other product managers to deliver a cohesive and compelling experience
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, quality and project team members to deliver on the product vision
  • Partner with cross functional partners in sales, marketing and operations to ensure product success
  • Identify risks, issues, and problems and escalate as appropriate, proposing mitigation plans to overcome obstacles
  • Collaborate through partnerships with third-party brands and technologies on integrations that create win-win scenarios for everyone involved.

  • Obsessed with UI/UX and customer-centric thinking.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experienced leading IOS and Android mobile apps with backend components
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning
  • Experience with IoT devices a plus
