Job Title: Director-Operations
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka (Work from Office)
Position Overview:
The position will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of the Verifications team in the GOC. This position will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and seamless delivery of Background screening services to our clients while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and hands-on leadership to the operations team, ensuring efficient workflows, timely delivery, and adherence to industry best practices.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain the highest standards in background screening services.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance productivity, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations.
Team Management: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
Compliance: Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, and ensure that all operations adhere to these standards.
Client Relations: Collaborate with the sales and client services teams to address client needs, issues, and escalations promptly.
Budget and Resource Management: Oversee the budget for the operations department, including resource allocation and cost control.
Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Technology Integration: Leverage technology and tools to enhance operational efficiency and implement system improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelorβs degree in business, Operations Management, or any related field.
A minimum of 15 years of operations management experience

Proven leadership & people management skills
Experience in managing and leading cross-functional teams across multiple centers
Excellent communication, interpersonal & Analytical skills.
Flexible to work in shifts (U.S) and occasional travel.
Ability to work well under pressure & handle competing priorities.
Excellent understanding of business processes & offshore business environment
Experience in operating N.A, ANZ, APAC, or European business preferred.
Experience of independently managing large teams (400+) preferred.
Automation/RPA exposure preferred.
Lean/BPI Certification
Experience in International background screening business will be an added advantage.
