About you:

AppDirect is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Product to lead our Distribution Team, a pivotal role that drives the success of our partnerships and integrations. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our product innovation for high-impact partnerships, including Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) providers and other ISVs. As the Director of Product for Distribution, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create product roadmaps, identify customer needs, and deliver solutions that enhance our distribution capabilities. Your strategic mindset and expertise in product lifecycle management will be instrumental in propelling the team toward innovation, ensuring seamless integration services, and maintaining our competitive edge in the market. This role calls for strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in managing products that support complex ecosystems.

What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact

• Lead Strategy Development: Craft and execute a comprehensive product strategy for connector and integration services with key partners such as Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and IaaS providers.
• Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from inception to sunset, ensuring that each phase is executed with precision and aligned with company objectives.
• Drive Product Innovations: Identify and prioritize new features and integrations to keep our offerings competitive and meet the evolving needs of our customers and the market.
• Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and support teams to ensure product success and seamless market introduction.
• Team Management: Build and nurture a high-performing product team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
• Market Analysis: Continuously analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive moves to inform product decisions and adaptations.
• Customer Journey Optimization: Enhance the customer experience by streamlining the integration process, reducing friction, and improving usability across our product offerings.
• Promote Scalability: Ensure that product solutions are scalable to accommodate growth and changing market demands.

What we’re looking for

• 7-10 years of solid experience in product management or a similar domain.
• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, engineering, marketing, sales, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage direct reports effectively.
• Working knowledge and experience with B2B distribution of software. Familiarity with Microsoft New Commerce Experience.
• Strong understanding of API development, especially GraphQL
• Understanding of the needs large enterprise customers
• Understanding of the SaaS/Cloud industry landscape
• Excellent communications and partnering skills. Comfortable presenting to customers and internal stakeholders, across business and technical audiences
• Strong ability to break down very complex problems into actionable steps that drive results
