About The Role:
The Director of Talent Management, reporting to the VP Talent Management, will own Agero’s talent management program to ensure our talent is a key accelerator of our strategic success and a destination for top talent. This includes responsibility for talent frameworks, relevant systems and processes, leadership engagement & analytics. The Director of Talent Management will also play a critical role in developing the overall talent management strategy for Agero. Preferred location for this hire is the greater Boston area as there is an in person component to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own, build out, and drive the ongoing integration of Agero’s talent architecture (talent frameworks such as competency models, career pathing, performance assessment criteria etc.) across the talent lifecycle, including talent acquisition processes, learning & development experiences and performance managementÂ
- Integrate our talent data and use to create insight on needs that helps inform and focus our talent management efforts
- In partnership with the VP, Talent Management, develop a talent development strategy to deepen Agero’s talent bench and retain key talent
- Design and project manage talent management initiatives, projects, and process improvements, including the bi-annual performance review process
- Partner successfully across the People Team, including L&D and People Business Partners, to ensure prioritization and alignment related to key talent management initiatives and outcomesÂ
Key Outcomes:
- Develop a talent management strategy that supports Agero’s business strategy and positions us competitively in the market to both attract and retain top talent to grow and develop their careers with us
- Help create an integrated experience across the talent life cycle that is aligned by our talent architecture as well as existing systems and processes
- Build, socialize and leverage talent data to drive insight, focus and strategy with the business
- Manage projects and processes effectively to accelerate business performance while providing a superior associate experience
About the Day to Day:
- Build and Invest in relationships across the business and People Team Â
- Demonstrate front-line leadership in design, formulation, and delivery of talent management programs, processes, systems, procedural changes, and resources.Â
- Develop, revise and update talent management programs to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.Â
- Demonstrate a high level of capability in the following areas: organizational effectiveness, consulting, change management, employee development, performance management, project management, data analysis and communication.Â
- Be the steward of the framework and implementation of Agero's talent architectureÂ
- Drive the development of metrics to determine effectiveness of various components of the talent management program to inform development priorities, future enhancements to talent management programming, etc.
Skills, Experiences & Attributes:Â
- 8+ years of progressive talent management experience
- 3+ years of People management experience
- College degree or equivalent work experience | MBA nice to have
- Prior Experience in Consulting
- Prior Experience in line role
- Demonstrated track record of delivering corporate-oriented talent management programs
- Experience in using data and analytics to drive strategy & decision-making
