Director, Technical Program Management

In this critical role, partner with our Product and Tech leaders to plan, design and drive the execution of projects to make big deal moments for our customers, and to ensure that we remain competitive, and get the work done.

In this role you will get to:

  • Partner with the Priceline infrastructure and technology operations teams to manage programs, direct cross-team deliverables, mitigate risks and balance business needs
  • Translate complex technical requirements into concrete deliverables and shepherd these deliverables from definition to done across the organization
  • Contribute your ideas and best practices to be leveraged across the technology organization
  • Collaborate with technology leadership and program contributors to set team goals that align to Priceline's strategic brand and technology objectives.
  • Apply your experience in program management to design effective processes and manage program execution
  • Work closely with cloud technology engineering teams, product, information security, and software engineering teams to execute against our infrastructure and technology operations roadmap.
  • Communicate program status, risks and mitigation plans to broader team and executives.
  • Proactively and creatively manage program level issues as they arise, while balancing cost and scope.

Who you are:

  • 10-15 years of Program Management experience in a technology organization (preferably ecommerce), running a variety of product development, infrastructure, compliance, security or privacy programs.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems and Technology, Computer Science, Management, or Business Administration.
  • Assertive and diplomatic, and achieves team cohesion, while integrating and aligning corporate initiatives.
  • Demonstrable ability to prioritize and balance conflicting priorities to build outstanding solutions with an eye for fine details. While being able to break down high-level problems and articulate solutions to both business and technical audiences.
  • Experienced with Jira/Confluence and are experienced with Agile SCRUM development.
  • Illustrated history of living the values necessary to Priceline: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trust.

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. In addition to a competitive base salary, certain roles may be eligible for an annual bonus and/or equity grant. (Post in Red lettering)

The salary range for this position is $150,000- $190,000K USD.
