As the Account Manager, you are responsible for managing and growing the Cytiva business in Ireland for our Academic & Applied Market Accounts. Working together with our instrument and applications specialists you wll present technologies and solutions to help our customers achieve success across their workflows.

Additionally as Consumables Sales Specialist, you will be accountable for growing our research consumables portfolio within all customer account segments in the territory (Biotech, CDMO, Genomic Medicine, Industrial/Applied Market and Biopharma). This will involve collaborating with our channel partners to motivate, encourage and support them to promote Cytiva research consumable product ranges.

What you’ll do:

  • Drive overall customer success aligned to the Cytiva strategy and goals leveraging all of the Cytiva account team. Owns the overall customer relationship across the account. Primary contact between the company and customers and grows the business through an understanding of the market, an awareness and familiarity with the needs of customer, and knowledge of the product portfolio.

  • Account Manager owns the customer relationship and represents the entire Cytiva portfolio.

  • Accountable to grow the consumables portfolio within their assigned territory within all customer segments.

  • Work cross-functionally across Cytiva Operating Companies to develop solutions and offerings to enable your assigned customer’s success across their workflows.

  • Builds a strategic plan in their assigned accounts to partner with Cytiva colleagues and distribution partners to develop and implement annual account plans in Academic, Applied Markets and R&D labs across the Life Sciences industry to grow Cytiva business

  • Achieve the quarterly and yearly operating plan within a defined territory while driving customer satisfaction and customer retention.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Life sciences subject.

  • Commercial experience, preferably in the Life Sciences industry.

  • Ability to quickly learn the entire Cytiva portfolio. A strong understanding of protein chromatography, genomics, cell culture and lab filtration preferred.

  • Demonstrate sales skills by previous sales responsibilities and account planning.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Experience of CRM systems (Saleforce) and Microsoft Office
