Job Description

Do you have a passion for Apigee and want to learn API innovation in a dynamic environment?
We're looking for an eager to learn Apigee Developer to join our team in designing, developing the API infrastructure.

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and scalable APIs using Apigee.
• Define and enforce API design standards and best practices aligned with the clients' telco domain expertise.
• Develop and implement Apigee policies for security, authentication, throttling, and monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure teams to ensure proper configuration and integration of Apigee within the client's network.
• Help in code reviews and ensure high-quality code that adheres to industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest Apigee features and trends, evaluating their applicability to clients' use cases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Apigee issues specific to API integrations.
• Create and maintain Apigee documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on APIs.
• Experience with Apigee Edge, Apigee Hybrid or X platform.
• Experience with API design principles and best practices (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI Specs).
• Solid understanding of security concepts like OAuth, OIDC, and/or telco-specific security protocols.
• Experience with API testing methodologies, including API security testing for APIs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
