Divisional Controller
Florida | Hybrid | 25% Travel Required

We are currently seeking an experiencedDivisional Controllerto join our team. This high-impact role is responsible for the financial leadership of a 10+ branch division operating across 5 states. The Divisional Controller will oversee regional accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and provide actionable financial insights to drive growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and manage all financial operations within the division, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
β’ Ensure accuracy of multi-entity financial consolidations and reporting.
β’ Monitor and manage divisional cash flow and working capital.
β’ Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and performance metrics.
β’ Own the annual budgeting process and deliver ongoing financial forecasting.
β’ Develop and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
β’ Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and coordinate with external auditors.
β’ Provide timely financial guidance to senior leadership and support strategic initiatives.
β’ Supervise and mentor regional finance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
β’ Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, HR, and executive leadership to support divisional goals.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred.
β’ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or controller role.
β’ Proven experience overseeing multi-location operations with $50M+ in annual revenue.
β’ Residential service industry experience required.
β’ Strong understanding of GAAP, regulatory reporting, and tax compliance.
β’ Proficiency with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, ServiceTitan, and Microsoft Excel.
β’ Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
β’ Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
β’ Ability to travel up to 25% as needed to support regional operations.
